Will you be offering prints?

Ah! The print shop question. I have been searching for a good printshop to work with and am yet undecided with the available options. While prints are currently unavailable but I do have plans to start a printshop. If there is a particular piece you would like to see in print, let me know and I will consider it for a future print release. The best way to be the first to find out when prints are being released is through my newsletter. 


Do I need to frame my painting?

All original works on canvas in my shop are created on canvases with a thick gallery profile of 1.5" - 1.8”* (unless otherwise stated). The sides are painted to give each piece a clean finish with a wire across the back. This means your work is ready-to-hang! All you need is a nail or a hook. 

However, framing is a beautiful way to showcase your artwork. Floater frames are very popular for canvas paintings and can be purchased at:

*Stretcher bars 24” and under are mostly handmade by my family hence the discrepancy.

Gift Wrapping Service
I’d like to mail a painting as a gift. Can you mail it to another address and write a note?

Yes, of course! I love mailing and gifts. Be sure to include a different shipping address from billing and include a gift message at check out. Includes a handwritten note, tissue paper, gift wrap paper. 


Do you offer refunds or exchanges?

Each original, commission, print or otherwise is treated with care. My aim is for you to be thoroughly delighted with your order! Because of this and the one-of-a-kind nature of each painting, I do not offer exchanges or refunds, except in certain circumstances. 

Please inform your local post office if your package is damaged upon arrival. You can also email photos of damaged items and packaging and I’ll try my best to rectify any issues.

Will my order look exactly like what I see on the screen?

I do my best to offer information, photographs and shipping details as accurately as possible. The screen you view your painting through may have slight differences in colour representation. Because of this, please take time to double check the descriptions and view the painting on various screens if colour differences are a concern.

Grace Lane-Smith retains the rights to ALL artwork created. This includes original paintings sold and commissioned. The artist retains the rights to create reproductions (e.g. prints) of the work and images used for promotion. 

Should a collector wish to have full or partial rights, an agreement must be met in writing at an additional fee. 

Collectors are not permitted to reproduce artwork in any form without the artist’s written permission. Artwork may not be resold or reproduced for profit in any way.

Can I commission a painting?

As of this moment, I have decided to take a break from commissions in 2019 so I can make space to follow my creativity and create more pieces in tune with my intuition and experiment with a wider range of sizes so keep an eye out for a piece that captures your heart!
